Great taste, decent ingredients Review by ultraaman
Quality Value Price Without a doubt this is the best tasting mix I have ever had in over 15 years of shakes. The chocolate is amazing. The protein is cross spectrum and nothing is hydrolized. This is a meal replacement tho, not a protein shake, so the protein levels are just OK per serving. Mix with fat-free milk to bump it up. The one drawback is that you have to use an electric mixer or else it will clump. That's a pain when not at home but it's the only drawback I have. I sometimes add coffee to change the flavor. Quality Value Price could have more protein per serving-only reason for low score and it takes a while to mix by in a shaker.
The chocolate kicks ass. Had it back in the "day" and it still rocks. CN makes good prodcuts and was the first w/ Met Max to come out w/ a blended protein/low carb w/ creatine and glutamine powder as was their proscore. Those two products lead the way for other companies.
For chocolate, this diffinately takes care of my sweet tooth and I add an extra scoop of dyamatize whey to bump the protein. Find the 28 lb version and save even more $$$.
A decent blended weight gainer.

Quality Value Price I tried the vanilla flavor. Well, this was my first weight gainer i've tried and i don't know how the others taste, but this one (vanilla) tasted horrible! I had to force myself to drink this stuff and finally emptied it in the sink! Sorry guys, this tastes far too artificial!
But i have to say that the protein drinks of champion nutrition are the best tasting i've ever tried and i'll order them again for sure! (Why does the weightgainer taste so different?). (Posted on 1/19/12) -

Quality Value Price I havent used this product in years. Like maybe since 1991... but all I can say is Champion Heavyweight gainer helped me go from 145 to 195 lean, over a 2 year period back in the day. I used to have 2-3 servings a day in between 3-4 solid meals freshman and sophmore year in college.
I think over the years I got scared of carb heavy drinks, but looking back, those were some pretty solid gaining years...
Anyways, great price, solid food for someone who needs a good 40 grams of protein and 6-700 calories in between meals, or post-workout.
Stuff used to taste AWESOME ... but again, that was back in the day.
