Quality Value Price I remember buying these bars about a couple years ago. When I saw the lab results I was a little shocked. But most protein bars aren't the healthiest thing to eat anyways. Eat a piece of chicken breast if you're so afraid of turning into a fatass. Anyways, I've tried all the bars and love them all. I once ate an entire box in one sitting because they are so damn good. If you're concerned that they're really bad for you, then just eat one when you are tempted into eating something like pizza. Use it as a cheat meal or something convenient when other healthy food is not available. I wouldn't say to make it your main source of food. But these do taste good and taste very wholesome. Quality Value Price pb banana is where its at folks. this is the best bar i have ever tried. high fiber, most of the carbs are from oats, (not sugar alcohol like most bars), and 30g protein blend.
the only draw back is the 16g of sugar. if cutting, i would stay away from it, but it is (IMO) the perfect bar for a bulk (Posted on 1/19/12) -

Quality Value Price And by the way, for the idiot you said, "I tasted alot more fat then they were claiming", you need to stab yourself in the cheek with a butter knife. If a bar says it has low fat and high protein, it HAS low fat and high protien. Food products can't mislabel there ingredients or nutritional figures because if they DID they would be under investigation by the FDA. Thatd be like saying, "The bars taste AMAZING.. but it's too good to be true". Well, moron, I hate to say it but you might be stupid... very very stupid. (Posted on 1/19/12)

Quality Value Price I cant say enough about the blueberry muffin flavor for these bars. I have tried this flavor from other businesses but the ones from bulk nutrition tasted the freshest. much like a cross between a blueberry muffin and a blueberry scone. i feel like im cheating when eating these bars. very good. lets encourage bulk nutrition to continue to sell these bars in the freshest conditions possible. Quality Value Price I have tried two flavors: S'mores and Blueberry Muffin. I tend to enjoy protein bars and shakes with thick textures because it takes longer to consume and makes you fuller. I was very very impressed with both flavors, while blueberry muffin was my favorite (reason being it's cholesterol free and has only 6 grams of fat - only 1.5 saturated!) Also, the carbs in this bar aren't all sugar alcohol like most... its made with whole oats and fruit. Overall, I am very pleased and will surely buy a box. (Posted on 1/19/12)

Quality Value Price Been using chef jay's bars for about one year. When your on the go and need to make
a smart decision or something to hold you over until you get good healthy foods, this is
a nice alternative. Somewhat dry so have some water to get this stuff down. Will always
cary my protien bars but lately have been going to instone's pudding as a nice change
of pace to chef jay. The bars all taste great but some are moist but dry going down. (Posted on 1/19/12) -

Quality Value Price Well i've tried the Caramel Apple. The first bite tastes strange, then you get used to it. It's not too bad, but i expected more after reading the previous reviews. Guess i'll try another flavour though. (Posted on 1/19/12)

Quality Value Price I can say that these bars are great tasting, but I stopped buying them after I read the label and saw the first ingredient was soy protein. If you have to ask why soy is considered less than ideal for bodybuilding, then nevermind and just keep eating these. I will give them credit for being filling, containing fiber, some whey protein ( not sure how much is soy & how much is whey ) and they are convenient. I like the Kong bars a little better but if we're talking nutritional value I'd take one of the new MRP's over any bar out there. ProLab's Lean Mass Matrix or Myoplex Deluxe are both excellent as they contain great sources of protein, low glycemic carbs, and healthy fats. (Posted on 1/19/12)
